We’re moving house tomorrow and I have no idea how or what we’re going to eat!
If you have a food website, or have one that you love to read then we want to know so we can help spread the word to all the other food lovers that get their food fix online!
Eating Britain now has reader forums where you can share your cooking tips, learn new recipes and discuss your passion for everything foodie with other forum members.
After much work, hours of (mental) pain and lots of thought, we have now updated Eating Britain with a scrummy new look for all of you, our loyal readers.
Julia at A Slice of Cherry Pie, has posted a list of all the UKFBA members (so far) on the UKFBA site and it is an awesome directory indeed! Not only is …
Abby at Eat the Right Stuff, is hosting the latest Monthly Mingle and the theme is Spring Fruit Sensations. I haven’t joined in a food-blogging event for ages and I do love a challenge! I’ve got my thinking cap on and I’ve got until April 7th to find inspiration! In the mean time, check out Abby’s post for more details of the event…
As you may have noticed, we’ve been updating EB and I’ve been re-organising all the links to other sites.
Over the last few months, I’ve been making a collection of interesting sites for your perusal and information. Here’s a small selection for your enjoyment. Additionally, please feel free to get in touch with any other links that you think may be of interest.
I’m very excited to let you know that I am now a member of the UK Food Bloggers Association!
Back in March, Julia from A Slice of Cherry Pie created a UK food blogging community where we could get to know each other a little better and help each other go from strength to strength. There are over 30 members so far and the intention is to start discussions, ask questions of fellow bloggers, post articles, or anything that would be of interest to others.

If you have a post you would like …
This week I have taken part in the 6th Euro Blogging by Post and I’ve had so much fun! Along with some frustration! I mentioned in my previous post, that I would be sending a parcel and indeed I did.
I chose produce that was sourced locally and/or typically English, totaling 7 items in all. I skipped down to the post office, only to find that my parcel was over 2Kg and was going to cost an EXTORTIONATE amount of money to send. So I resigned myself to having to remove one of the items. I struggled to decide but it came down to physics – the heaviest item had to go. I won’t say what it was as it’s not fair on the recipient to find out what they missed-out on! So, my parcel eventually began it’s journey and soon it should arrive at it’s destination. I can’t wait to hear back from the recipient!
Firstly, Let me explain what a MEME is…
“In the context of web logs / ‘blogs / blogging and other kinds of personal web sites it’s some kind of list of questions that you saw somewhere else and you decided to answer the questions. Then someone else sees them and does them and so on and so on.” Quote copied from The Daily MEME.
Now, i have dabbled with a MEME before, in my 5 Foods to Live For post, but did not really explain in context. So, there you go, that’s what a MEME is!
I read the following MEME on Dianne’s blog and was inspired to join in. So here is my contribution to…
