Eat Natural Bars Withdrawn

eatnatural.gifEat Natural has withdrawn some Eat Natural bars of nuts and fruit with cranberries, macadamias and dark chocolate because they contain a milk protein that is not mentioned on the product label. This means the product is a possible health risk for anyone who is allergic to, or intolerant of, milk or milk constituents.

The company has withdrawn the affected stock from sale. All future production of this product will be relabelled to show advice on the risk of possible cross contamination with milk. In addition, the company has contacted the relevant allergy support organisations, which will inform their members of the withdrawal.

Anyone with an allergy or intolerance to milk or milk constituents is advised not to eat this product.

The Food Standards Agency has issued an Allergy Alert.

No other Eat Natural products are known to be affected.
